THE HOME OF SNOOKER 900

Crucible Reading is proud to be the home of Snooker 900, the innovative and exciting format created by Crucible owner Jason Francis. Originally developed to give amateur players the opportunity to experience televised snooker, the format first appeared on Sporty Stuff TV, before growing a loyal following on YouTube and eventually being picked up by Pluto TV for worldwide distribution.

Broadcast regularly from Crucible Reading, Snooker 900 has featured an incredible mix of talent, including local club players, amateur competitors, former professionals and current main tour stars. The fast-paced format, shorter matches and exciting atmosphere have made it a huge hit with both players and viewers alike, helping to introduce snooker to a new generation of fans across the globe.

Today, Crucible Reading remains at the heart of the Snooker 900 story, continuing to host broadcasts and showcase one of the most entertaining formats in modern cue sports.
