The Crucible Newbury is proud to present our Saturday Round Robin Darts Tournament, a unique 10-week competition designed to reward consistency, performance, and commitment throughout the season.

Whether you’re a seasoned county player, a league regular, or simply looking to test yourself against other local players, our Round Robin format offers competitive darts, great prizes, and a fantastic social atmosphere every Saturday afternoon.

Tournament Overview

  • Starts: 4th July
  • Duration: 10 Weeks
  • Registration Fee: ÂŁ20
  • Weekly Entry Fee: ÂŁ5
  • Registration Time: 12:45pm
  • Start Time: 1:00pm

Prize Fund

  • ÂŁ50 added to the final cash payout every week
  • ÂŁ10 from each player’s registration goes into the main competition prize fund
  • ÂŁ5 prize each week for:
    • Highest Checkout
    • Most 180s

Competition Format

Each week, players will be entered into a blind draw and placed into one of four groups.

Group Stage

Players compete within their group in a series of matches played over the day.

  • Matches are played as Best of 3 Legs
  • Points are awarded based on finishing position within the group
  • The top two players from each group qualify for the knockout stages

Tie-Break Rules

If players finish level on points in the group stage, a tie-break will be used.

Each tied player will throw 9 darts, with the highest total score securing the higher finishing position.

Season Rankings

All points earned throughout the tournament are recorded and accumulated across the full 10-week season.

The overall league table will determine the final standings and prize payouts at the end of the competition.

If players are tied on points after the final week, a playoff match will be held on payout day to determine the final positions.
