INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Crucible Newburt.
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our facilities, membership, website, bookings, competitions and services. By becoming a member, making a booking or visiting the club, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Throughout this document:
- “The Club”, “we”, “our” or “us” refers to Crucible Sports Limited.
- “You” refers to any member, visitor or customer using our facilities.

Non-members are welcome where permitted by the Club.
Visitors must comply with Club rules and instructions issued by staff.
Members are responsible for the conduct of any guests they introduce.
Only food and beverages purchased from the Club may be consumed on the premises unless authorised by management.
Customers must advise staff of any allergies before ordering.
Although every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any food is completely free from allergens.
Alcohol will only be served in accordance with UK licensing laws.
Anyone appearing intoxicated may be refused service.
Members and visitors must drink responsibly.
Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn.
The Club reserves the right to refuse entry where clothing is considered unsuitable or offensive.
Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.
Junior members may only use facilities in accordance with Club rules and safeguarding requirements.
Players attending coaching sessions must follow the instructions of coaches and Club staff.
The Club cannot guarantee improvements in playing performance.
We do not retain personal information indefinitely without a valid reason.
Crucible Newbury sometimes hosts television productions, live streaming and media events.
By entering designated event areas, visitors acknowledge they may appear in background footage or photographs.
Where practical, clearly signed filming areas will be identified.
Members and visitors must treat Club equipment respectfully.
Anyone deliberately damaging equipment may be required to pay for repairs or replacement.
CCTV operates throughout the premises for:
- crime prevention
- public safety
- protection of staff
- protection of customers
- protection of property

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Membership remains the property of Crucible Sports Limited and may be suspended or withdrawn where these Terms & Conditions are breached.

Membership is non-transferable.

- cancel bookings
- reallocate tables
- close facilities where necessary
Customers should arrive on time.
Repeated failure to attend booked sessions without notice may affect future bookings.
Participation in food challenges, including the Reaper Wings Challenge, is entirely voluntary.
Participants accept responsibility for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
Anyone with allergies, heart conditions, respiratory conditions, digestive disorders or sensitivity to chilli products should not take part.
The Club reserves the right to refuse participation where staff believe doing so may place someone at risk.
All members and visitors are expected to behave respectfully.
The following will not be tolerated:
- abusive behaviour
- threatening behaviour
- discrimination
- harassment
- violence
- damage to property
- excessive intoxication
- illegal activity
Anyone behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave.
Membership may be suspended or terminated.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas.
Smoking inside the building is prohibited.
Competition rules will be published separately where appropriate.
The Club reserves the right to:
- amend formats
- alter schedules
- postpone events
- cancel events
Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the organisers.
The organisers’ decisions are final.
Photographs and video may be taken during competitions, exhibitions and Club events.
These may be used for:
- website content
- social media
- promotional material
- press releases
Anyone with concerns should speak to a member of staff.
Personal belongings remain the owner’s responsibility.
The Club accepts no responsibility for:
- lost items
- stolen property
- damaged belongings
Visitors must:
- follow staff instructions
- comply with safety notices
- report hazards immediately
The Club reserves the right to remove anyone acting unsafely.
